you're talking about Jarin.. on pretty much every forum i ever saw him he was the king (and queen) of spam i always tried very hard to keep up with his postcount, but i don't think i ever succeeded...

and you should just google a bit more for fun, your world will expand very fast that way

Well, I cant be one to complain since most in sites I'm on, I tend to have the highest (or one of the highest) post counts ><

We played RO on the same server(s) for quite some time and were in some pretty active guilds. It's been a while since we actually played a game together, but we've kept in tough via forums..

Speaking of games.. I'm getting very bored with the games i'm currently playing, so does any of you have a few suggestions where i can give in to my study evasive behaviour? I don't have a very new laptop, so don't start with games that require more then 32MB of video-memory...

At the moment I'm playing EVE, GunZ and Supreme Commander... your hardware could probably handle GunZ. If it's RTS I'd play about anything tho..

Sorry, I couldn't recommend any good online games sine most of the ones I play are all console ones. Good luck finding one though ^^ You should try the one Jarin was saying, you end up with a marshmallow following you everywhere you go!!

argh! alphabounce! you can sure break your day with those kind of games... you can break it in: get out of bed, alphabounce, go to bed :S

anyway, i was looking for a good (mmo)rpg or rts.. those shooters are nice, but i always suck bigtime at them

There really aren't any good MMO's these days... they sprout like weeds but there isn't anything good. I liked the quest system in Nostale, and the combo system in Cabal was fine, or if you want something more like the old games try Rappelz. There's still plenty of RO / L2 / ROSE servers out there as well.

And yeah Mon, I play RO every now and then.

i got bored with RO... so i wanted something else. i've tried Rappelz for a while, but my laptop kept freezing up after a while, so i guess it didn't reach the specs or so..

i never played L2, so i think i'm going to try that out soon ^^

L2 is pretty nice, takes some time to get into the game tho

I know a nice farming spot once you reach 40~50ish

i think i'll start at lvl 1 first...

any ideas where to level?

BTW jarin what's the status on JL2?
cuz it's love to play some L2 again aswell, but not on a server where there's a shitload of sniping rules and people I don't know.

Uhm...

I *could* put up a server (got the serverpc, got the connection, got the power, got the router) but that comp makes a lot of noise and I actually don't feel like running it. Could see if my own pc would be able to handle L2j, if it takes less than 10% of my CPU (chances are high it does, with only 3-4 players) I'm fine hosting it from 08.00-24.00.

So if people are interested (beside Monty) let me know and I'll see what I can do


Edit: keep in mind that singleplaying on an L2 server isn't that fun. You'll have to make a forger to get the crystals you're going to need and noone's going to help you questing

it's a good way to start getting used to the game tho

no other players killing you etc...

Btw, I went into your city thingy Jarin but couldn't find any way of joining. There were no links!

if you click on the link, you add a citizen to jarins city. When you're there, you can see a few other internet adresses on the bottom left side. You can go to those pages to add industry/transportation (for now). It aren't links tho, so you'll have to copy paste them. I'm not sure if you can visit them all on one day or if only the first one you go to counts on that day.

the only 'usefull' thing you can click on is the button to post a message

There's a link (redirecting sub-board actually) to the minicity on top of the randomness board, clicking that daily helps out a lot

Explanation on mmc: First you create your minicity, after that you can do 1 action per day per IP, it's not like I can configure anything or place the buildings, it all happens automatically.

As far as you could call it options:

Inhabitants
Industry - from 50 inhabitants
Transport - from 100 inhabitants
Security - 300
Environment - 500
Business - 1000

Ow, and to get big buildings you need 'explosive growth'

Need someone to work in security, you know who to call!

I'd rather leave you in charge of the environment ;P
